Fall Girl Scout Day and Campout is Sept. 28-29 at Chimney Rock Park. Cost: $19 Scout, $14 Adult, $6 additional youth. Camping is $10 per person. Join for a weekend of hands-on programs and activities that will get scouts outdoors and engaging with the natural world. Explore the park in the afternoon, and then pitch a tent in the meadows for the optional campout. Registration is limited to 150 scouts and closes on Sept. 20. Chiquitos Preschool Program, a Spanish and art immersion preschool program for ages 3 and 4, launches in September in downtown Asheville inside the LEAF Global Arts Center. Join Allie every month for a fun, themed session of kids’ yoga. Through song, mindfulness, and movement, kids stretch their bodies and calm their minds. Wear comfy clothes to move in. “Embrace the Journey,” an exhibition of the works of artist Anatolii Tarasiuk continues through Sept. 22 at Pink Dog Gallery.
